Although the Jugla Cemetery is geographically located in the Teika district, it is named after the Jugla district. Jugla Cemetery is situated at 1 Stāmeriena Street. It was established in 1913 as the cemetery of the Cross Church parish. The cemetery covers an area of 0.78 hectares.

Although the Jugla Cemetery is geographically located in the Teika district, it is named after the Jugla district. Jugla Cemetery is situated at 1 Stāmeriena Street. It was established in 1913 as the cemetery of the Cross Church parish. The cemetery covers an area of 0.78 hectares.
The cemetery is the final resting place of J. Kripens, who translated the "Chronicle of Henry of Livonia" into Latvian. It also holds the grave of one of the most promising young lugers, Normunds Taškāns, who tragically passed away during a training session in Oberhof in April 1984. Since 1975, the cemetery has been partially closed.
Visitor hours for Jugla Cemetery:
Summer season (April 1 to October 31): 7:00 – 21:00.
Winter season (November 1 to March 31): 8:00 – 18:00.
On memorial days and other remembrance dates, the cemetery's operating hours are determined by the cemetery administration.
