About Glasstone

Glasstone is an art studio in Riga specializing in glass monuments, headstones, and memorial sculptures. Since 2011, Glasstone masters have helped families honor their loved ones by offering exclusive headstones made of glass and stone, combining refined design and long-lasting materials.

Founder and Philosophy

The studio’s founder and chief artist, Latvian glassblower and sculptor Ernests Vitins, aims to create not just headstones but works of art that reflect the family’s emotions and values.

The Glasstone philosophy is based on the idea of light and bright remembrance: every glass stele conveys a sense of transparency, light, and harmony with nature.
