The chapel has fully preserved its original structure, architectural composition of the façades, layout, authentic decorative details, and carpentry elements, as well as its initial function. The architecture of the chapel distinctly represents the unique features of regional architectural art, which are now quite rare.
The chapel is one of the few surviving examples of log chapels in Latvia and stands as a remarkable specimen of traditional craftsmanship. In the Riga region, the log chapel at Ulbroka Forest Cemetery is the only such example.
In 2012, the log chapel was included in the list of State-Protected Cultural Monuments as a local architectural heritage site.
