There are also designer wreaths, created by florists on oasis bases, but these wreaths are sensitive to movement and harder to hold during the farewell ceremony. In Latvia, it is customary to use national linen ribbons, as well as silk and satin ribbons in white, black, or burgundy colours.

Sometimes very large, two-metre oval wreaths on stands are used at funerals, which look very luxurious and special. It should be noted that such a wreath is very heavy, it is difficult to hold it in your hands or bring it to the ceremony.
Special wreaths are heart-shaped funeral wreaths that look very touching. To order a heart-shaped funeral wreath, please note that making such a wreath takes more time than making a traditional funeral wreath. For military and government officials, as well as sometimes for commemorative moments, it is customary to choose a wreath in the shape of a small boat with special handles, carried by two people.

Funeral Sprays
Funeral sprays are the second most popular type of funeral flower arrangement, which is made on the basis of flat greens, mainly spruce branches, has an elongated shape, it is easy to hold in your hand during the farewell ceremony, as well as after burial, it is convenient to place it on or next to the grave.
Funeral sprays also feature mourning ribbons with inscriptions, or simpler plastic mourning ribbons in black, white, gold, or other colours.

Funeral Bouquets
Traditionally, white flowers are brought to funerals, and close ones often choose red flowers to express their love. In fact, the symbolism of flowers is conditional, because flowers of any color are beautiful. There is a tradition of bringing an even number of flowers to funerals or cemeteries. However, if the bouquet consists of many small flowers that merge into one composition, the number doesn't matter.
Funeral bouquets are also made in a flat form, but unlike funeral sprays, they are not made on a spruce base. Flowers and lighter greenery are arranged gradually so that the bouquet can be laid flat, with the flowers visible. This makes it easy to place the bouquet on the grave during the ceremony.

When saying goodbye to the deceased in the farewell hall of the crematorium, people sometimes think that a funeral wreath or spray might not be suitable for the occasion. However, both wreaths and sprays, as well as floral arrangements, can be used at such funerals to make the final farewell beautiful and truly solemn. We have communicated with crematoria multiple times and can confidently say that there are no restrictions on the number of flowers, although many people believe otherwise.
Of course, a simpler, smaller bouquet or cut flowers can also be used. It has been observed that for cremation ceremonies, people often choose fewer flowers, sometimes limiting themselves to two to four flowers or simpler bouquets without the heavy spruce bases.
