South Cemetery in Liepaja

The South Cemetery in Liepaja is one of the largest cemeteries in the city and is located at 150 Klaipēdas Street. It is actively used for burials, with approximately 200–250 new burial plots allocated each year.

The current number of available plots is estimated to be sufficient for the next 4–5 years, after which it is planned to create two new sectors, providing about 2,400 additional burial plots, which will be enough for the next 10–15 years.

The cemetery is digitized, allowing the public to access information about burial sites and promoting the preservation of cemetery culture.
